Facing serious or long-term illness, pain or disability can be both a threat to life as well as to the quality of our life. It can be a frightening and lonely journey or one that leaves you angry and misunderstood.
It can be hard to talk to friends and family about these struggles as they may be finding it hard to cope too.
Sometimes we find ourselves supporting someone we love who is facing serious illness, pain or disability, or even nearing the end of their life.
Counselling can provide much needed companionship on that journey, a relationship that supports the process of coming to terms with and making meaning out of illness or pain.
